Circle City IN Pride 2008
Saturday June 14, 2008
9:30 am - 7:30 pm

This years Indiana Gay Pride Parade leaves from the corner of College and Mass Ave. at 10:00 A.M. We would love for you to march with us! You can line up with Von between 9:15 and 9:30. You will be traveling down Mass Ave to Vermont Street to arrive at University Park.

We also need folks to offer smiles from The Church Within table in two hour shifts between 11:00-7:00. Join the fun!!!

Rites of Becoming

Jeanne Olson will offer Rites of Becoming in the Church Meditation Room, following first Sunday Brunches on May 4 and June 1 (12:00) and will also offer classes following church in the Meditation Room on May 18 and June 15 at 11:30. Inside Out
The Church Within

Facilitated by Reverend Darren Chittick
Class will not be meeting May 14 through the end of June.

This on-going class will begin with a kirtan practice followed by a time of meditation. From here Darren will present a different topic every week that will focus on how we impact the world through interdependence beginning from the inside and moving that change out into the world. After this time we will join together for a time of discussion and noshing.

The topics will vary from theological and philosophical thought to hands-on/active practices that everyone can take home with them. Feel free to email Rev Darren in order to find out the plan for the week.

THURSDAYS:
Keeping on Course
The Church Within

This on-going class will be centering on individual study of A Course in Miracles Workbook. The group will gather each week to share the ways that this practice is intersecting their lives and discuss related topics from the Text. NEWCOMERS ARE WELCOME!

First Sunday Brunch:
The first Sunday of each month, right after the worship service. This regular event is a great time to meet and greet other members of the church. Come Join Us!

Sufi Poetry Reading and Discussion
Third Sunday of every month
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us after the Sunday service for a reading and discussion of Sufi Poetry. This time will be facilitated by Farzad and Dr. Mary Ann Fadae.

Healing Sunday:
The second Sunday of each month is a time for healing at The Church Within. Before the service, from 9:15-9:45, we will have a time for healing prayer and meditation led in the meditation room. Following the service there will be time for individuals or groups to receive healing or information about different modalities from one of the numerous practitioners at The Church Within. These sessions, whether informational or actual healing sessions, are free of charge and any donations made will go directly to the general fund.
